Pro Plaster Products announces a new year expansion
Monday, October 15th, 2012Pro Plaster Products, Solid Products Australian partner, has announced expansion plans for 2013. Barely more than a year into the manufacturing of drywall finishing compounds PPP needs to increase its production capability. Managing Director Perry Richardson indicated that increasing demand even in a challenging economy will require an increase to their present capacity. “Due to increasing demand and anticipated future growth we feel it is necessary to invest now to meet what we expect to be continuing demand growth” said Richardson . “Our success has exceeded our initial expectations and it
is our intent to continue to be the industry standard and continue to grow market share”.
Richardson made the announcement at the recent meeting of the APBA held September 21st through the 28th in Kona, Hawaii. The expansion will begin in the first quarter of 2013 and is expected to be complete sometime in the third quarter. Richardson indicated that the expansion will result in a near doubling in their capacity at the Capalaba, Queensland facility. He also indicated that they had begun preliminary sight studies on possible future locations.
